In recent years, mini thermal printers have appeared on the market, mainly used to print labels, pictures, web pages, etc. It can be used as a gift toy for children, or it can be used to print daily information. It is easy to carry and has a wide range of uses.
The main component of this thermal printer is the thermal print head. There are two types: brand-new and second-hand. There will be a price difference of about US$1（this is not stable). However, most printers on the market currently use second-hand print heads. But, I still recommend using a new print head, because second-hand print heads face the problem of unstable price and quality.
- Supply and Demand Fluctuations: Prices of second-hand printer heads can be influenced by fluctuations in supply and demand. When there is a high demand for specific printer models or components, their prices tend to rise. Conversely, prices may decrease when there is less demand or a surplus of these items in the market.
- Condition and age of use: Most second-hand printer heads come from POS machines. There is currently no way to test the number and condition of the print head, so it is difficult to determine the number of times the printer has been used.
